It is generally accepted that we can prevent earth’s deterioration if we achieve a renewable energy world. When we hear the word renewable energy we normally think of state-of-the art equipments and high-end technology. But, we can start today. Simple acts can help jumpstart the initiative of saving our planet.
When we come to think of it, our major energy source comes from fossil fuel and as we all know the use of fossil fuel emits harmful substance to our environment. And every time we use it, we contribute to the slow deterioration of planet earth. Because in almost everything that we do we use energy and most of the times we do not value this. We waste a lot of energy without thinking that if we continue this unconscionable use of energy, there will come a time when our entire energy source will be fully depleted.
Our simple use of television, washing machine, and various appliances may be a form of waste in energy. If you analyze it the appliances works for you while you sit down watching the television. Even simple chores that we can perform on our own we still tend to rely on using our appliances and that is a big waste in energy.
But most of all I believe our cars are worst in depleting our energy and harming our environment. Not only does it deplete fossil fuel through
the use of gas but it also is notorious in emitting harmful substances in the atmosphere. In our present time we can’t deny that cars are necessity because we now tend to travel much compared in the primitive times. But we can still do something to minimize the damage. We can prefer to use the public transportation instead of bringing our car. The use of alternative vehicles may also help like bicycle for example or walking especially if we are only going to a place nearby.
We don’t need to be a rocket scientist just to promote a renewable energy world all we need are simple steps in conserving energy in our daily lives. Not only we help protect our mother earth, but also we save a lot of bucks by going green.

Contrary to the common perception that we are highly reliant on Coal mining not only for energy but also on our economic sustainability, a study shows that by 2030, transferring from coal to renewable energy will in fact boost job creation by 2.7million jobs. The study states that switching to renewable electricity generation will create 2.7 million more jobs while avoiding 10 billion tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
If the government will support this report and act upon it through legislation the renewable energy industry can grow bigger and generate more jobs. Unlike before that they see it as a threat to coal mining which may result to negative economic drawbacks through its direct impact in the employment figures. In fact some world leaders
are leaning to this trend. Like Gordon Brown who is seeking to implement a green new deal in the United Kingdom. In this program United Kingdom will utilize industries in renewable energy to jumpstart the flailing economy.
Sven Teske of green peace even commented that renewable power industries can create a lot of jobs especially if the renewable are more competitive in the long run. To expound on this, for as long as this technology progresses to a more efficient and cost-effective way of
energy generation, more investors will be interested in the production of energy through renewable means. The more this industry flourishes the more job opportunity it will create.
Even the development phase of this technology (to simplify and mass produce renewable electricity) can also contribute to the economic growth. As I see it plants manufacturing solar panels, and various equipments used in the production green energy will highly contribute to the economic welfare of society allowing breakthrough after breakthrough. After all, green energy is not only limited to sun , wind, or biomass, but it may also come from a source that is waiting for our discovery.
And since it’s renewable it will be cheaper the longer you use it. And that is additional savings to the public on their utility bills, cleaner air and environment. Truly, in a renewable energy world, you can never go wrong.
