Sources of Renewable Energy

By , March 9, 2011 1:36 pm

Currently, oil and fossil fuel are the primary source of our energy needs. Although generation / exploration of these energy sources are generally easy and most profitable, it is not renewable and will deplete in the long run. That is aside from the environmental damage that it creates from its exploration to its final use.

Fortunately we now have an emerging alternative. An alternative that is friendly to the environment and clean. Not only that, it is renewable. As of now scientists are on their way to discover cheaper generation cost and efficiency to this technology. But definitely, this is the energy of the future. But what are the sources of renewable energy? Let us look at some:

The sun not only gives us light at daytime but it is a major renewable energy source. In fact even in the old times they already harness the power of the sun for hot water and power for some appliances with solar panel. Aside from the sun we also generate renewable energy from the wind. Turbines converts to electricity the force that the wind turbines collect from the wind.

Biomass is also one of the sources seriously developed by the scientists. This normally comes from living organisms. Now a lot of discoveries are directed from this method. Among those closely studied by scientists is Hydrogen because it is the element most abundant in our planet. The only problem is how to breakdown the hydrogen particle from other elements. For example, water (H2O)

When waterfalls are sourced for energy, normally it is through Hydropower which uses water turbines for the utilization of the kinetic energy that the water brings from the top of the waterfalls.

The advancement of technology allows us to discover a lot of things and utilize the available resources for our renewable energy. Come to think of it, most our energy sources are available in our day to day lives. This is a high time for us to switch to renewable energy. So what are you waiting for? Use renewable; energy , save the environment towards becoming a renewable energy world.

Renewable Energy – The Answer to World’s Energy Crisis

By , March 9, 2011 1:20 pm

Our ignorance in the use of energy, irresponsible use of electricity and gas would eventually bring us to an Energy Crisis throughout the globe. Our solution to this upcoming dilemma, use renewable energy.
But what is it in us in using renewable energy source? Not only you are being self-reliant, but also you promote the use of free and clean source of energy.

You can think lots of benefits in the use of renewable energy but isn’t it too expensive to set up the device for us to use this technology? The answer is a yes and a no. Yes because the productions of these devices are still limited it will also mean higher costs. Also these kinds of installations normally requires experts, in short, it will be pricey (for now).

If you think renewable energy is no longer good for you because of the cost that it entails, then this is for you. Try searching the net. It is a very useful; you can also look for the guile called Energy4Earth. This site explains how you can build / make your own sources of renewable electricity. A lot of people are using the knowledge they got from this site to free themselves from the regular energy sources.

All of them have saved thousands of dollars with just making their own solar panels and windmills. The detailed illustrations and instructions are so good that extra power that can be generated through this can be sold to local power companies.

Let’s face it we will eventually face a large energy crisis in the future because fossil fuel is limited. It is good to start now. Start early and learn how to be self reliant in energy production. Make use of the available resources like Energy4Earth which was a product of Michael Harvey’s initiative. You can be the first among your family and peers to start this wonderful revolution while saving a lot of money in the process. You will not be helping only yourself but the future generations and hopefully we may achieve a renewable energy world.
